Tim Walker, CA
Tim Walker was born and raised in Winnipeg receiving his Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree in accounting from the University of Manitoba in 1975. Upon graduating from the University of Manitoba, Tim received the Mrs. McLaughlin Award presented to the graduate commerce student exemplifying high achievement in both academics and athletics.
Tim was employed by various accounting firms in Winnipeg and in 1978 completed his articles with an international firm of Chartered Accountants. Tim continued to work with this firm and was promoted to Audit Manager in 1980, where he was responsible for accounting, auditing, and taxation assignments and supervised up to seven staff members on audit engagements of some of the largest companies in Winnipeg.
In 1982, Tim joined the family partnership of Chartered Accountants where he serviced a wide variety of small and medium sized businesses, providing a full range of accounting and tax services. This partnership continued until February, 2001 when it merged the practice with Prychitko Kapitoler Burdey forming PKBW GROUP.
Tim has been an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg for over fifteen years and was also a member of both the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.
Throughout Tim’s career, he has volunteered his time and talent to various charitable and service organizations as follows:

Tim has participated at a competitive level in various sports including: track and field, tennis and curling.
Tim is married to Judy. They have three adult children.
Bob Walker, CA
Bob Walker is a life-long resident of Winnipeg, and an alumnus of Grant Park High School and the University of Manitoba, graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Accounting in 1972. After travelling Europe for a year, Bob joined the Audit Services Bureau of Supply and Services Canada in 1975, where he acquired audit experience working on internal and external audits of various Federal Government programs and departments. Bob received his CA designation in 1976, and in 1979 he joined the family firm of chartered accountants, providing a full range of accounting and tax services from the firm’s office in St. Boniface. In 2001, Walker and Walker merged with Prychitko Kapitoler Burdey to form PKBW GROUP.
Since 2001, in addition to providing accounting and tax services to owner-managed businesses, including tax return preparation and planning for corporations, trusts and individuals, Bob has provided specialized tax services to the clients of PKBW GROUP, including corporate reorganizations, business acquisitions and sales, succession planning, estate planning, U.S. tax issues and R&D claims. Bob completed parts one and two of the CICA In-Depth tax program in 2002 and 2003 and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Bob was for many years one of Manitoba’s best long distance runners. He still holds the Manitoba native record for the marathon (42 km. in 2:19:03) which he set in 1981 when he represented Canada in the team event in the Montreal Marathon. Other competitive and recreational interests have included tennis, curling and chess.
Bob is married to Joy and they have three adult children.
Richard G. Senez, CA
Richard Senez is a Winnipeg native who graduated from The University of Winnipeg with his B.A. in 1977 and Qualified as a CA in 1984. Richard is fluently bilingual in Canada’s official languages.
Richard’s professional experience includes 23 years First Nations auditing experience, as well as experience in manufacturing, construction, municipal, health care, school divisions, credit unions, first nations, forestry, producer marketing boards and a multitude of service and not-for profit businesses.
Richard’s professional interests include computer systems consulting and he has extensive knowledge in accounting software packages including ACCPAC, Simply Accounting and QuickBooks.
Richard continues to give generously of his time and talents as a volunteer to many service and not for profit organizations in the community including:

- Richard is also a member of the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Richard is the proud father of twins Melissa and Donald.
Alex Yaworski, CMA, CMC
Alex Yaworski was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He attended the University of Manitoba where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree. He later pursued further study in accounting and management receiving his Certified Management Accounting (CMA) designation, followed by his Certified Management Consulting designation (CMC), placing third in Canada in the final qualifying examination for the CMC program. Alex has also pursued additional study in forensic auditing.
Alex has over 23 years of experience as an accountant and business advisor, having worked for sixteen years in CA public practice and seven years in healthcare where he served as the Business Manager at Mount Carmel Clinic for 4.5 years (1996 to 2001) and most recently as Managing Director of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba for 2.5 years (2006 to 2008). Alex has had a long history with PKBW Group going back to 1992 with its predecessor firm, Prychitko Kapitoler Burdey. Alex rejoined PKBW Group in July 2008 and became a director in the firm on January 1, 2010.
As a Director in the firm, Alex provides audit, tax, and management consulting services to a variety of clients in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. In CA public practice, Alex has experience providing excellent service to a variety of clients including health care organizations, public foundations, social service agencies, retail businesses, construction companies, automobile dealerships, transportation companies, medical practices, professional associations/institutes, and First Nation governments. Alex is able to provide value added service to managers and owners in various organizations having worked in industry himself.
As a volunteer, Alex continues to serve his community well. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Winnipeg Folk Festival where is serves as Chair of the Development Advisory Committee, and as a member of both the Finance Committee and the Resource Development Committee. Alex also is a member of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg-Transcona and served for four years as its Club Treasurer. Alex has also previously served as Board Chair of Women In Second Stage Housing (W.I.S.H.) Inc. and as a Board Member of Concordia Hospital.
In his spare time Alex is an avid runner having completed eight full marathons and eighteen half marathons in both Canada and the USA.
