Trevor Remple was born in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, raised in Kola and Virden, Manitoba and educated in Brandon and Winnipeg receiving his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Manitoba and subsequently going on to earn his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba. Trevor is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

As a student in accounting, Trevor articled with a local Winnipeg accounting firm where he serviced many not-for-profit organizations. Trevor spent five years in Camrose, Alberta in a local accounting firm where he expanded his knowledge in servicing owner-managed businesses and further developed his corporate tax and personal tax expertise. In 2006 Trevor joined PKBW GROUP servicing many of the firm's non-for-profit, owner-managed businesses, and personal tax clients.

Throughout his career Trevor has donated his time and expertise to a variety of organizations, including:

• Member of the Commerce Business Club Inc from October 2006 to Present
  Membership Chair December 2007 to Present and named Member Of The Year for 2007/2008
• Co-Chair Finance Committee, Camrose Relay for Life (Canadian Cancer Society) for 2003 and 2004
• Worship Team Facilitator, First Baptist Church - Camrose from September 2002 to December 2004
• Treasurer, Gull Lake Baptist Camp from June 2000 to September 2001
• Manager, Liquor Control, Panhandle Productions Ltd. for Big Valley Jamboree (2002 and 2003) and Stage 13 (2002 and 2003)
• Manager, Ticketing and Processing Lanes, Panhandle Productions Ltd. for Big Valley Jamboree (2000 and 2001) and Stage 13 (2001)
• Co-Chair Scoring Committee, Three-Day Eventing Equestrian discipline, 1999 Pan American Games
